This Privacy Policy explains how NEPSE Trading ("we", "us", the "App") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By creating an account or using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

NEPSE Trading is a stock-market information and analysis application for the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). It provides market data, charts, technical and fundamental analysis, news, and educational content. Website: nepsetrading.com. Contact: nepsetrading2081@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information you provide when registering: first name, last name, email address, and phone (contact) number.
• Password: stored only as a salted one-way hash on our server. We never store your password in readable form and cannot see it.
• Subscription records: which plan you purchased and its status. Payments are processed by third-party gateways (eSewa, ConnectIPS); we do not collect or store your card, bank, or wallet credentials.
• Push notification token: a device identifier used solely to deliver notifications you have enabled.
• Google account basics (optional): if you choose "Continue with Google", we receive your email address and name from Google to create or sign in to your account.
• App preferences (e.g. watchlist, chart and indicator settings): stored on your device and, where applicable, with your account so they sync across sessions.

3. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and authenticate you (including optional two-factor verification).
• To provide the App's features and your subscription entitlements.
• To send notifications and account communications you have enabled (e.g. via SMS or email).
• To respond to support requests and protect against fraud and abuse.

4. How we store and protect your data

• All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit over HTTPS/TLS.
• Your login token is held in the device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
• Passwords are hashed on the server; access to user data is restricted.

5. Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary with service providers that operate the App. We do not sell your data. These providers include:

• Payment gateways — eSewa and ConnectIPS — to process subscription payments.
• Push notification services — Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) and Apple Push Notification service (iOS) — to deliver notifications.
• Messaging provider — to send transactional SMS/email (e.g. verification, alerts).
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You may request a copy of your data or permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing nepsetrading2081@gmail.com from your registered email address. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Market data & financial disclaimer

NEPSE Trading provides market data, analysis, and educational content for informational purposes only. It is not investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. The App does not execute trades, hold or transfer funds, or provide brokerage services. Market data may be delayed. Investing carries risk and you are solely responsible for your decisions. Consult a licensed financial advisor before investing.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the App.
